I think I've heard this before, but I'm not sure. I know that you have to flip the switch and leave it for like 10 minutes, then flip the next and leave it, and so forth. Turn them off and go into the next room and either check the after glow, or feel for heat on the light bulbs and use that as a measure to determine which lightbulb is which, as you put it.

I live in south Florida, and yes, we get lots of sunshine and warm weather year round, but geez, as far as I'm concerned, there's sooooo much more to life than just warm weather and sunshine. Overall, for me, Florida is a place to go for a VACATION not a place for a young person to live year round who craves culture. There's so many cities in the country (NY, DC, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco), where the weather may not be as great, but the people are educated and sophisticated and there's culture - - plus, many of these great cities, have four seasons, so people can participate in winter sports. Also, the people down here (overall) tend to have a very poor work ethic compared to what I'm used to. They are not serious about their jobs (or anything for that matter). I see a vast difference in the work ethic down here, as oposed to the work ethic up north and un the midwest. For me, warm weather is a nice luxury, but there's so much more to life than just weather. Why is it then, that everyone thinks I'm crazy for wanting to move away?

Plants in pots and how to protect from frost?

the day berfore this present big freeze up i found that my border soil was ideal for planting so i went and purchased a acer palmatum bi hoo which is in a ceramic pot about 12 inches across and the same depth also a dogwood in a larger plastic pot . i have the acer in my shed with a froststat heater in place but i have insulated the larger dogwood with polythene round the bottom of the plant pot and stood it on a wooden pallet in a sheltered position in the garden which at the moment has 1 foot of snow. have i done right or wrong???? should i leave these plants in their pots or should i plant as soon as this bad weather goes and where is the best position to plant this acer which was expensive. its about 4 feet high so how old will it be??/? i also purchased 15 roses which have their roots in compost surrounded with just a polythene wrap. i have also put thse in the shed for protection from the bitter frosts we are gettin here in north east england. any further advise would be very much appreciated.

Aw im 16 and was that age when i was in your same situation, ans seriously i was worried over nothing just like you are. Here's what i have learned to answer your questions: 1. i know this sounds silly but try kissing on your hand, and when the real thing comes just slowly lean in and give light slow kisses and slowly get closer to each other and kiss a little faster but as you increase speed stick a little portion of your tongue into his mouth he will follow and just keep moving your tongue around gently while kissing him in between. I know that sounds complicated but it will come naturally just get lost in the moment and it will be so much more special. I think I just got scammed by a mover, and my stuff is in transit to the destination. What can I do?

So I am moving from LA to SF and I hired this mover call USA relocation and storage. (btw I found out they are blacklisted and has a F rating from BBB) the initial quote was about $1500 for 3000lb. And I am moving about 2 bedroom worth to a 1 bedroom apartment. So they arrived at my house on time and 3 guys started to rewrap + box a lot of things (this is a extra charge that I didn't really authorize) they were fast and efficient. But after it was all done, one of the main guy came and said, "I have been doing this for long time and I think it's all gonna weight about 9000lb". I thought this is a bullshit! He also said that all of the packing material cost about $700. And if I take them this to weight station, he claimed it's gonna cost more.then he said he is gonna help me by letting me pay flat rate. 5 grand!!! I haggle the price with him to bring it down to $4500. But I think it's still way high. But I was too exhausted to fight and I said ok. So I put my credit card number down and paid half first ($2250) and now they are on the way to SF. So my question is everyone is what can I do to stop them or to pay the rest of $4500. Can I notify my credit company about this scammed? Should I call the company. Should i someone(cop?) with me when they drop my stuff in SF? My only concern is that they might dump all my stuff on the street and leave. Can my moving insurance do anything. (I have full coverage on this move). What can I do??? Please help!! Switch of the juice and take the front off the boiler(2 screws at the bottom). Try venting the pump through the vent screw. It might be that the divertor valve is stuck in the hot water position so the boiler is firing with nowhere for the water to go

Someone hit my car and then run away?

I don't know who the person that hit my car was and I have no witnesses (Already asked neighbors and they say they didn't hear, or see anything). I already filed a police report and got a report number that I don't know what to do with. The car looked like it was hit very hard; back of it was knocked onto the sidewalk, I think the frame that holds the 2 back wheels together is probably bent because it was hitting the curb when the back of the car was pushed on to the sidewalk. The front left of the car is smashed along with the headlights and the tires got flattened. I have liability insurance from GEICO but I'm not liable because I didn't cause the accident, someone else did... I live in California and I don't want to pay in full for my car to get fixed because someone hit my parked car. I tried to drive it off the sidewalk but it won't get out... My coverages are bodily injury liability, property damage liability and uninsured & under insured motorist but I heard that I would need collision in this situation... What should I do?

Hello world, I just want to get your opinion on this. Everyone has the one person they see and think wow I would love to go out with that person or just have that person talk to you but deep inside u feel like they never will give u the time of day. Well I found that girl and she gave me the time of day and made me feel great. Everytime I would talk to her everything would be perfect, we both like the same things in life. So after about a good 2 weeks of talking to each other I say something about goin out but in my mind Im thinking she wont go out with me I havent known her long enough, but to my surprise she said sure. So Im feeling like I can fly, Im just so happy because the girl who I never thought would give me the time of day is goin out with me. When I see her she is so BEAUTIFUL that suddenly I feel like Im in a dream because in my eyes she was perfect. And where I live we have something called the Boardwalk and it has everything you need at a date you know Dinner and a movie. So we hung each other and we walk around until our movie was about to start. I paid for her movie because I just didnt feel right with her paying. So we get in the movie and shes just is looking all in my eyes smiling and blushing and I can't help but smile back at her. And one mistake I think I made is that she go real close me while I was looking at my phone and she was like a inche from my mouth, so In my mind I said if she does that again Im gonna kiss her and I did.... So as the movie gets goin pretty good she lifts the arm rest up and ask me can she lay on my lap because her back hurts so I say yes. She lays on me and puts my arm on her side and she holds my hand the whole movie, and I just feel so warm and lucky. And the movie we went to go see was Australia so it was kind of a love story. And when Hugh kissed the girl on the movie we held hands harder. And at the end of the movie we stayed in there a little while after it ended and we kissed, to me and my 18 years of life it was so romantic and I fell for her. So after the movie I asked her what kind of food does she want to eat and she says WHATEVER U WANT AND GODDAMNIT THATS ALL I NEEDED TO HEAR. So we went to a Burger place and she finished her burger before I did because we raced, So I just felt like this was something that would last because she was so beautiful and wasnt afraid to eat what I wanted to eat u kno. So we walked around one more time at the boardwalk and then kissed under the moon and it felt so right. CHECK THIS **** OUT the next day I ask her would u want to go with me(meaning do u want a relationship with me) and she says I WENT SOMEWHERE WITH U YESTERDAY...........and that hurt me because I thought we had such a great time together. Then her true colors come out she was just using me to get over her ex of 2 YEARS.....YEAH 2 DAMN YEARS. Then she had the nerve to say I was rushing her, at the date u where the one putting out all of the signs I just responded to them. She made me feel so low and I cried over her because I thought I did everything right. She told me I wasnt good enough and that she would not love anyone while she still loved of ex of 2 DAMN YEARS. My daughter worked in Italy for a few years but every Christmas she came home to spend the season with the family. She is very talented and made a beautiful gl ball decorated with little leaves, dried flowers, tiny roses, pearls and crystals. She carried it in her hands all the way home on the plane so it wouldn`t get broken. I love it so much I can`t pack it away with all the other decorations. i was 16 when i discovered bulimia - at the time, it felt like an ideal solution. i could eat exactly what i wanted, yet relieve the guilty after-feeling by 'disposing' of extra food that i was convinced would make me fat. for me, bulimia isn't so much all about being thin although that is certainly a drive behind it. for me, bulimia is about being in control. when the rest of your world is falling apart around you and you can't change a thing, bulimia helps me and for that reason, i often think of it as a 'friend'. sad, i know..a disease comforts me. but it does... when i would be having problems with friends or at home or just generally feeling down, i'd resort to bulimia. i could change myself, i could be whoever i wanted to be as long as i lost weight and changed my appearance. after i lost a little more than 22 lbs in 2 months people started to comment on my weight. some people would be shocked as in 'whoa..you've lost so much weight..you look a bit unhealthy,' while other people were complimentary telling me how slim and nice i looked. these comments only encouraged me - the bad comments convinced me that people were jealous and wanted to look like me and the good comments made me feel that what i was doing was right and was having the desirable effects. i would start to look around me and think my 5 ft 5 friend who weighs about 130 lbs was fat, obese even. i would look at her in disgust as she ate a sandwich for lunch, convinced that she'd let herself go. at school i would eat nothing. often at home i would get out of eating too and those days i felt in control and happy, especially when i was getting a bit bullied at school. but some days when i got home i'd go crazy, eating every single thing i could find in the cupboard. i'd feel sick afterwards, as if i wanted to die and would throw it all back up, telling myself i was sick and disgusting and i didn't deserve to eat. then i'd tell myself that no wonder people didnt like me, i was a disgrace. then i'd go and cut myself - each ugly scar that remains on my arm reminds me of a different day when i'd just lost control. this story saddens me even now because even i can see how wrong i was...and i did get better. but i fear its coming back now and my depression is even worse. i dont want this to spiral back into the full-blown bulimia i had managed to recover from before. a bulimic can never truly recover i suppose but i want help this time. i dont want to be the person i was back then. i got dangerously thin and was so unhappy so if anyone knows of anywhere where i can get help or has any recovery stories of their own, please let me know :) thank you for your time. x

Yes and no, everything is good, except for your memory, hard drive and battery. You only have 1GB and 24MB RAM, if you plan on using it for gaming or pictures, it will crash. You will have a very short amount of time with your battery, and 80GB is only a couple thousand pictures.

Livng a nightmare and with 11 month baby..does this sound right?

I knew a young woman in a similar situation like yours, but different in many ways as well. she couldn't sleep in a bed, was made to cook and clean up everyday: mind you there were 5 adults in the house including her and her bf and two small children. she was made to sleep on the floor in a roach-infested apartment from her 6th month up to her 9th month and even after she delivered by c-section. she was afraid to leave because she felt like you did, as if she had nothing to fall back on. So i'll give you the same advice that some of these people have and what i told my friend to do: take your son and stay with the grandma. while you're there, look up some WIC and welfare offices and apply for TANF (Temporary istance for Needy Families) food stamps, low-income housing and medicaid if you dont have any for you and your child. TANF can cover low-income rent ( which goes as low as $50 monthly depending on what state you live in) for up to 6 months, which gives you time to find a decent job and sitter or daycare for your baby. and even with a job they'll still offer you services just to make sure you're secure. There's always a way out sweetheart, dont give up on yourself so fast. you're gonna be just fine.

How do i top up my 24i worcester combination boiler?

There should be a filling loop system of some sort either on or adjacent to the boiler. I may be built in on the lower front of the boiler and has a special key to be inserted to complete the loop or it may be generally a silver coloured flex hose under the boiler usually with a slotted head valve to insert a screwdriver to open and some have a valve both ends of the flex. When you have sorted this part out fill to 1 bar or 14lbs pressure cold.

Thin toenails that don't grow?

Both the blood and urine tests should be accurate by now BUT, just yesterday I was talking to a girl on here who went to the dr. and took a blood and urine test that came out negative but she still thought she might be and a few days after that took another good brand home test and it came out POSTIVE!~ So you really just have to wait and see!!!~ I would keep takin home tests thou, cause your hcg level should double everyday if you are!! Lately I've been thinking a lot about what career I'd like to pursue. Although I haven't found a "pion" to go off, which would be a lot simpler, I do know some things I'd like in a career. I'm hoping to start with this, find jobs that match my ideas, and find my pion from the wide selection that I will probably find. First off, I really don't care how long I have to be in college or how much education I need to go through. I love to learn and wouldn't mind being in school for 10+ years. I really want a career having something to do with the FBI; I've always been fascinated with it. However, I don't want to be an agent that is constantly faced with the possibility of death. However, I don't want to be in a lab working for the FBI and just looking through a microscope inside all day. We, the members of the cl of 2009 have each come from very different background and places, each one of us with their unique history. Traditions and cultures, we can be proud of, the experiences that have made us who we are today, and given each of us an understanding of how the world functions. Some of us are American, Bahraini, Jordanian, Egyptian, Indian, Lebanese, Moroccan, Palestinian, Pakistani, and many others proud nations from around the world. Regardless of our gender, race, religion, or our nationalities, we succeeded in communing here, at NYIT under there tutelage. Where we have been challenged to expand our understanding of the world. By the efforts of our dedicated Professors to innovative understandings and experiences, we have widened our understanding of the world, but also of ourselves and who we are to be in this world. Our melting point is here, our cultural and traditional barriers were removed and freedom and cultural tolerance were empowered. NYIT has given us this time and place, to meet, learn and build new bonds, with many people from cultures around the world. As we graduate today, some of us may underestimate what we have achieved here. Some of us may be thinking that so many have ped through these halls before us. Others may be thinking that all has been achieved by those who graduated before us. Others may be worried, we will not be able to find a place in this world of complexities and achievements because so much has already been done.
