Halloween H2O ending?

Ok so this is a question for all you out there who have seen this movie. I recently just finished watching and I'm 13, but at the end when Micheal is reaching to Jamie Lee Curtis I felt so bad for Micheal, like it's like he's changing(even tho we all no he will b a killer) and anyway, did any of you feel bad for Micheal at the end, or is it just me?
