.farting in bed is it fine?

hey sometimes in the heat of the moment i end up letting one rip during .....my boyfriend finds it really disgustng....a complete turn off but i think its natural right?? what about u guys...PS im obese if that has anything to do with excessive flatulence pleas help immediately.....love tiff
