If you had a daughter, would you let her date?

I don't believe women should date. It causes too much heartache during a break up and if I had a daughter I wouldn't want her to go through that. I would want her to court a guy. If I had a son I might not be able to control him, but I would be able to control a daughter. Does this make sense?
