Is there a way to find out what amperage/wire size PG&E is REQUIRED to supply to a customer?

power companies are not required to conform to the national electrical code or conform to any state standards. i have seen several times that code enforcement officers will require a job to be done a certain way and then a power company will come in and say they don't want it that way. the power company always wins regardless if it meets code or not. to put it simply the power company can do anything they want and they don't answer to anyone, trust me, if tried to fight that fight. the closest your going to come to getting any satisfaction out the the power company would be to go through the public service commission.
