Does this dose of Ferrous Sulfate seem high?

The difference may not be as big as you think. The concentration for the drops is given as elemental iron, while the elixir gives it out as ferrous sulfate. The elixir has 44 mg of iron per 5 ml. Both dosages are reasonable.
